Business Analysis

At Nova we believe that Business Analysts need a blending of systems engineering, systems architect, enterprise architect, business analyst and systems analyst experience to be effective.    Nova’s BAs are at the leading edge of the inevitable merging of the traditionally civil focused specialisation of Enterprise Architecture and traditionally defence focused specialisation of Systems Engineering into what is being coined Enterprise Systems Engineering.  

At Nova, our BAs also have a background in certification, governance, risk, safety engineering and test and evaluation which means that our approach is enhanced by the input of these complementary specialisations.

Nova’s BAs use a methodical proven process of first developing a thorough plan for the analysis process, which includes:

• Information and detailed elicitation, once users needs and assumptions have been documented;
• Enterprise Analysis, this is where our BAs ensure that they take a holistic view of your enterprise when developing a solution;
• Requirement analysis, management & communication; and
• Solution assessment and Validation.  

In this process the BA’s will work with implementation & test experts to ensure that the designed system is creatable, workable and testable.  Once completed, the BA’s will work with Solution Architects to get the solution implemented, tested and put into service for your organisation.
